Important: Storytime Studio is designed for parents and guardians (ages 13+) to create stories for their children. Children do not use the app directly. This policy explains how we handle information about children that parents provide for story personalization.
1. Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
At Storytime Studio, we take children's privacy seriously. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws protecting children's privacy.

- No direct data collection from children

2. How Our App Works
Parents and guardians download, install, and operate Storytime Studio. They create an account and generate stories. Children aged 3-8 are the intended audience for the stories but do not interact with the app directly.
3. Information Parents Provide
To personalize stories, parents may voluntarily provide:
- Child's name (or a fictional character name)
- Age range (3-4, 5-6, 7-8)
- Personality traits (optional)
- Interests (optional)
- Story preferences (theme, tone, length)
Parents can use a fictional name instead of their child's real name.
4. How We Use This Information
Information is used solely for story generation:
- Creating personalized stories with the child as protagonist
- Adjusting story complexity based on age range
- Incorporating interests into story plots
We do NOT use child information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or selling to third parties.
5. No Behavioral Tracking of Children
- No analytics on children's behavior
- No targeted advertising
- No social features
- No persistent identifiers
6. Parental Rights
Parents can:
- Review all information provided about their child
- Delete child profiles at any time
- Delete their account to remove all data
- Choose not to provide any information
7. Content Safety
- Multiple layers of content filtering on AI outputs
- All stories designed to be age-appropriate for ages 3-8
- No violence, mature themes, or inappropriate content
- Parents encouraged to review stories with their children
